As part of this mission, we are installing Carbon’s L1 in our digital manufacturing factory, making us the first partner to start production on the L1 printer for general use.

Fast Radius is committed to finding the processes that give customers the best results. The L1 complements our M2 printers, expanding our Digital Light SynthesisⓇ (DLS) capabilities to include large-part and high-throughput production. Here’s what you can expect with the L1:

• Make bigger parts, or more small parts: The L1 has the largest build volume of any Carbon printer at 15.7 in x 9.8 in x 18.1 in (400 mm x 250 mm x 460 mm).

• Accelerate time to market: Prototype and produce more parts on the same machine with Carbon’s production-grade materials.

• Trusted manufacturing and materials: All of Carbon’s materials will be validated and available to use on the L1, including EPU 40 and 41, RPU 70 and 130, and EPX 82.
